Paranoid Linux

Paranoid Linux is an operating system that assumes that its operator is under assault from the government (it was intended for use by Chinese and Syrian dissidents), and it does everything it can to keep your communications and documents a secret. It even throws up a bunch of "chaff" communications that are supposed to disguise the fact that you're doing anything covert. So while you're receiving a political message one character at a time, ParanoidLinux is pretending to surf the Web and fill in questionnaires and flirt in chat-rooms. Meanwhile, one in every five hundred characters you receive is your real message, a needle buried in a huge haystack.
Cory Doctorow (Little Brother, 2008)

Paranoid Linux is a OS dreamed up by Cory Doctorow in his book Little Brother and brought to life by a bunch of hackers. THIS IS NOT A FULL RELEASE, THIS IS NOT EVEN A BETA RELEASE, THIS IS AN ALPHA RELEASE. Currently Paranoid Linux is no more than a souped up version of Ubuntu and as such still looks like Ubuntu, what with the Ubuntu boot screen and the Ubuntu theme with the gnome window manager.

mandriva linux

Mandriva is regarded as one of the best distributions (together with openSUSE and Ubuntu) for Linux newbies. It provides lots of useful graphical wizards for configuring most of the system settings. Lots of them are not found in any other Linux distribution.

Mandriva uses RPM as their package format, but is not compatible with Fedora's or Suse's RPM-s. The default package manager is urpmi, but the new powerful tool Smart is also supported. The default desktop is KDE. Gnome is also included and configured. The latest stable version, Mandriva Discovery 2006 includes a few novelties like an interactive firewall or a search tool KAT (like Beagle or Google Desktop Search).

Mandriva is very well localized — it can be installed in all the popular languages. It fits great for newbie users, but t's also used by lots of experienced ones, who don't like to fight with Debian, Slackware or Gentoo.

After the latest merges (with Connectiva and Lycoris) it changes its name from Mandrakelinux to Mandriva and this is how we call the system now.

I have used a bunch of disk cleaning applications including but not limited to: ccleaner, windowwasher, disk cleanup, and Wise Disk Cleaner. None of these applications were nearly as fast, or efficient as Cleanup!. This application was developed by Steven R. Gould, He deserves a big round of applause for his wonderful work creating this awesome application.

You may copy and paste all of my articles as long as you give me credit for my work by writing By Reddoni at the end of each article and do not exclute this notice.

Enjoy a fast, uncluttered computer!

Craagle v3.0 in ENGLISH!!!

Craagle v3.0 was originally released by Dr. Emulator. It was in Spanish and i do not like Spanish but i LOVE craagle so i looked for a English version and found out that a guy named alot4u made a "translated version". i looked for it and got hold of it, it ****ed! only some parts were translated so i decided to translate it myself. i used the craagle 1.7 beta by the youking crew to know what to write and where as i do not speak Spanish. There is one bug in the program, however; it does not affect the stability or usability. the bug is that when you abort a search for serials it will say that it is still aborting even after it is fully aborted. feel free to modify the program to fix any bug you might find!
Here you go!

It was branded as LEO4ALL. it will work on both intel and amd processors and most chip sets the one difference between this copy and apple's copy is the fact that it has a text based boot to install it put in the cd then at the first prompt press F8 then type in "platform=x86pc" no quotes (this is not necessary it just makes things faster). Then when the GUI (Graphical user interface) comes up just click next and i agree like anything else when it asks you where to install it go to the top of the screen ->utilities->disk utility chose a disk partition it with the default FS (File system). Quit the disk utility select the disk click next, click customize then chose the packages you want then click next. Go ahead and walk your dog (the install takes a while) and tada Leopard on your pc!

Edition' />

This is my first release. With it you can install xp in less than 2 minutes using only 256mb of ram. the entire install takes up 610mb. when in use the entire OS uses up 24.10mb of ram, and the whole thing boots up in 12 seconds. To burn first extract then use active @ ISO burner found here for free burn at 8x speed! Caution This version of xp will not prompt you for anything serial included and there is no need to activate it with Microsoft, but once it starts up it will not prompt to chose witch disk you want to use it will just pick the first one DELETE EVERYTHING and reformat. Enjoy.
